I think I finally reached adulthood when I saw the headline "Hornby to buy Corgi in £7.5m deal" and my first thought was 'What would the author of Fever Pitch want with such an expensive dog?

You know what. I thought exactly the same thing as you did but didnae bother to check. It wasn't until I read your entry that I realised that this article wasn't about a stinking-rich author and his expensive obsessions. :)
