I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with art, and I'm sorry I can't help. All I can do is give you an ear and a shoulder and whatever other body part/type of moral support you need from me, and hopefully that'll be enough. <3 Love you.

It's ok, kiddo.
Just about every artist goes through these same things, so you're not alone. But for those of us who are rather anal, stubborn, critical, and obsessive about it, we can only either make it better or worse. Sometimes, I don't even like to say that I have a style just yet because I can't tell if it really is one or just habitual mistakes that I put down instead of drawing what and how I really want to draw.

So, the things that have been helping me out are looking at old art, looking at master artist's [major important!!] work and asking myself "Why and what do I like about this?", and searching for links about "style".

Thank you. I keep forgetting to reply to your comments, but everything you say to me is always so encouraging and helpful (particularly in that last post I made about college).
