After all of the research that I have done in the past two years, I think I can almost say that I'm darn-near an art college&scholarship expert and I'm going to tell you everything I did&didn't do that you should do if you want to get the good money.
First thing first: What's your major [i'm thinking illustration, design, or animation], what attracts you to the AAoU, what do you want to get out of school [like, teaching, traditional VS contemporary, design, etc.], and how quickly do you want a degree?

yah about that... it totally is like that sometimes. but sometimes it's really inspirational. i have some folders that i file my favorites into. and one of them is 'inspirational' because i like to grab art that i feel like i can learn from. 8D
i think if you kinda spin your outlook on it, like... 'oh i can learn from this' as opposed to 'this person is so much better, i'll never get as good as them.'
just try to learn from artists you like.. like i said in my last comment. XD
