Ooo...Nick and Greg fic! Yay! Even though the subject matter was sad, it was a delight to have more of them in print. I'm glad to have read it. It always annoys me that the show tends to gloss over all the evil they see, and the effect it must surely have on them. You did a terrific job of showing just what that impact could be.

This is so very beautiful and it makes me cry every time I read it. The way they stay together in hope, even when they aren't together, the way they come back together. The fact that they've had so much to survive.

This is brilliant: … a friend has become a body that needs to be processed… It captures in a nutshell the change of a vital relationship and the inevitable way they have to go on, although one of their own has fallen. Such sadness. I feel like the show killed Warrick off, but didn't give us much grieving and this made me feel angry and sad all over again that he's gone.

But at least Nick and Greg are still together and they will make it.

It's very romantic, despite how grittily realistic it is, which is a brilliant feat in itself.

Thank you so much for writing it.

Nice!

You do catch those moments in life to perfection.

And when TPTB won't give the show time to grief it is good to have writers like you to do it.
