So, two dogs now, huh? You absolutely must, must, must post pictures.
As for talking to/with the dogs -- nothing weird there. I do it all the time! :)

we have one dog, but we're watching my sister's, too, right now.
i've taken pictures of them, but i can't seem to find enough time to upload.
