Oooh, that's really very nasty, but there's some truly gorgeous imagery with it. I especially liked the section with the cave, going back with Amy and Dennis - very nicely done. :)

Wheee, thanks! (and it's lovely to see you're back!)
The cave reference had creeped me out like nobody's business at first reading of HBP, and still does, so it was just tempting to play with it here. So glad it worked!

I love the ending of this - and the image of Voldemort stroking Harry's hair. Great story!

It's wonderful! Anne is going to love it. :) Broken!Harry is absolutely adorable - I love the way he's turned so completely to his old enemy as his sole protector, and the way Voldemort has accepted him and does protect him - sort of. And the Snape fangirl in me is squeeing quietly at Severus being relatively lenient with him.

PS. this would go nicely in grave_robbers - the Inferi mention and the slow inevitable destruction of Harry both mentally and physically before the reader's eyes qualify it in my view. Just saying.

Yay, glad you liked it! Of course in my own little head Voldie only sees what his arrogance allows him to see, and there might be a lot more to Harry :). And Snape :).

omg, really? Though I'll probably need a few days before getting around to post - I'm on the run out of the net cafe right now ;).

Thanks - even if I couldn't part with a lot of the ambiguity. And yep, I tried to pack in as much horror as possible ;).

It's wonderful, honey, and I did think it was much more clear now. *hugs*

Oh my god. That's one of the darkest pieces of fic I've ever read in my LIFE. I LOVE it. So creepy and horrible and awful, with just a tinge of twisted hope at the end... gah. I shivered all the way through it.
