And yes, it does. Although, you probably be able to use some of your lower level magic... I just doubt you'll be casting indignation any time soon.

The magic that's available here comes from the small elemental spirits... it's almost like summoning, in a way, save that what you're borrowing is their power... it can often take a while to form a bond with them. Some of them won't speak to you at all unless you're in a certain area, and there are other issues.
