This was quite impressively awesome. I liked Ianto and Rhys teaming up to wrest back their respective snuggle-buddies from the no-doubt-considerable charms of Gladys. (For some reason, I have in my head the idea that Gladys becomes Craig-von-Raven's Mrs. Robinson. It seems a shame for her to end up all on her own.)

I did stop and wonder, though, when Owen bit into that apple. Did he forget that he doesn't have a functioning digestive system?

Aw, don't be embarrassed. I've done that--I forget now what it was exactly, but some kind of continuity error that there was no easy way to fix.

This was eating at me all night, so I figured out a way to fix it. I still can't believe I didn't catch it in the first place... ARGH!!!!! *facepalm*

Brilliant. A mad, cracky, hilariously entertaining romp that would be perfectly slotted into the TW season. It'd probably be the best episode of the season, How you managed to take mind control, a much used TW fanfic device and make something so original, refreshing and memorable is fantastic. Ianto, sly much put upon voice of reason has rarely been done better, his reaction to the cracker, homage to the ancients and trick on Owen were all simply perfect (I totally forgot about his non-functioning digestive system, and love the prank too much to care). Rhys was sweet and lovely, as Rhys should always be, and his dousing of Gwen is a image I'll always remember. Jack was wonderfully Jack. Owen and the bar was creative genius. I LOVE this to bits.

So glad you enjoyed! I went back and fixed the continuity error because it would have driven me absolutely crazy if I hadn't-- I can't believe I didn't catch it the first time!

In any case, I had great fun writing this, and while it may be gauche for a comedian to laugh at their own jokes, I was totally cracking myself up the whole way through. And Rhys definitely enjoyed hosing down his wife... Gwen! Lager! Wet tshirt! What could be better, really?
