Loved the fic! Loved the practicalities, the wistfulness, the touch of humor. And loved the poem, which I hadn't read before.

I think it stands alone quite nice, but if ever the muse calls... I'd love to read more.

*hugs*

Oooh, Ireland! I wish I still had my old pics of my trip there. As for the fic, this is really lovely! It's great as a stand-alone but I really do hope that someday you will be able to complete the entire work. In the meantime, thank you so much for sharing this with us. :)

Hey, that was a fine read! Took it in over coffee early this morning and really enjoyed it. Love Maglor's voice, which is quite strong and nicely takes the reader into his headspace. Beautiful prose per Kenaz Brand™ per usual.

you get the point: BIG STUFF.

*cough* Don't I know it (as The Elendilmir languishes, I stupidly start The Writhen Pool and wonder where the fuck I am going with that).

I really love this. Your Maglor is superb; I love the weaving in of his work and how stories change and don't, and how it parallels his own life. Your Olórin is lovely. And the details are perfect.

It's a wonderful story and does stand alone rather well. (Though, like others, I'd love to read the ficlets and primer if you ever get the inclination to write them.)

Thank you for posting it!

Oh, but this is gorgeous! I love your Maglor's voice. It does stand alone quite well, but I would love a glimpse of his future, as well. ;)
