This is wonderfully creepy-the buildup is great, and the way it's structured really helps with the piece. You can sense Rachel getting more and more frustrated, even as his mother is brick-walling her out of the conversation.

Just makes me wonder what's happened to the poor guy. Fantastic take on the prompt! :)

I've had mild cases of it in the past, and it's very painful. We haven't had any deaths from it this year so far thankfully.
