That's a nice review. I'll check that out at the library. Lately there been novels out with the character Elizabeth Bennet chasing vampires, what have you, etc. To many readers the character of Elizabeth is already made, so to read her different situations would not be so difficult for a writer. She fits the steam punk genre. A very romantized look at science fiction. Actually that's what HG Wells was. An incurable romantic. I bet he read a lot of Jane Austin.
