Ana = Reverse

So today we learned about Neoplasia, which literally means "new growth", or in layman term, tumour.
Lecture was conducted by one of the crappy lecturer.

There is a term called "Anaplasia", means to form backward. (According to his lecture notes)
It actually means the cease of differentiation of cells.

He mentioned, "Ana means reverse"

Good luck Kian! btw..i read about anaplasia elsewhere and it actually does in fact mean to form backwards..in other words, dedifferentiation of cells so from a mature form become a less mature or less differentiated form. Happy Studying! =)
