I made State. And so did Bruce. 5:15:13 in my 500 free, I think I can do a 5:10 by county.I think that puts me 10th or 11th in county, so I could bring in big points for the team. I still don't know if I'll shave my head for county ( Read more... )

woo-hoo good job! State is the BEST!!! it's the reason why i do HS swimming!! (even though i had fun this whole season.. but not in the past) you get a t-shirt, and you can buy another t-shirt there, and a cap, and a cool locker decoration, and FOOOODDDDDD, and another pasta dinner, and the dress-up thing...

you would've gone a 5:10 if brass monkey had stayed in the whole time LOL

The brass monkey? How'd kyle get that name? I had no clue it was him in the water, I thought Scott must have entered the 500 late. He was going pretty fast.

lol oh brass monkey. there's a song:

and it just sorta fits him. It's hilarious that he actually got away with it for 14 laps. I think someone said his 300 split was like a 2:45... hahahaha. but it really made weaver angry.

Yep, which means I'll be at the pool all day saterday. I'm shooting for 5th place, which means doing a 5:05. I think I can. But I'm 9th, so I won't be in the championship heat. But I might get the bell, which would be cool.
