ancient egyptian language translation

Does anyone know how to say "Queen of Heavenly Light" in Ancient Egyptian?

Wondering, too, if anyone has a book or website to recommend for learning Ancient Egyptian language (both spoken and hieroglyphics)

I recommend OpenGlyph (a free dictionary software) for learning words and hieroglyphs. It has no grammar guide or anything, it is just a dictionary, but it's a good tool for the curious. For learning phrases and grammar, I loved How to Read Egyptian Hieroglyphs: A Step-by-Step Guide to Teach Yourself by Collier and Manley - it was marvellous for a novice.

Hope that helps!

That would be a hard one since "heaven" isn't in Egyptian Mythology. You'd have to use the plains or something in the duat or maybe sky?

I have several books on the subject. I can make you a list when I'm home.

Usually Collier and Manley's book is best recommended for learning the basics of hieroglyphs. There is another book: http://www.amazon.com/Middle-Egyptian-Introduction-Language-Hieroglyphs/dp/0521774837 that is said to be good, but can cost a lot.

I believe "pet" is the word for heaven.
Second, I think "set" means queen. (As in Auset.)
Thirdly, I think "mer" or "ak" is light.

However these are guesses and I have no idea how to put them together from there. It's a starting point, however, and I figure someone can further translate and correct this.
