I love that first shot. Wow.

I know I've asked you ten times - but what kind of camera are you using again? I am in desperate need of upgrade but have to wait awhile (seeing as though we just bought a house and they've sucked us dry....haha)!

I use a Nikon D200. When you are ready to upgrade, I'd suggest looking for a used camera body. Bill just bought the D100 body (which was the model before mine) for $500. Often times, you can find used cameras in really good condition for a fraction of what they cost retail.

I love the purple flower. I want everything perfect and just so so I would never have thought to take a photo of a flower that wasn't "perfect" but it's truly beautiful. At the risk of sounding corny, it's amazing that one photo makes me realise that I'm too picky and how pretty things are when they just exist naturally.

Thanks! Most of the flowers had these little tiny black bugs on them (you can see one on the cone flower) and I really liked how each close up I took showed a bit of wear and tear.
