Duck!

Spotted a pair of ducks standing next to the swimming pool this morning. Classic mallards, one male, one female. They were standing with their feet just on the edge, as if they were trying to work up their nerve to jump in.

M: Do you know how much chlorine is in that pool? I'm amazed you ever thought it was a good place to forage. Dipping my bill in that... brrrr
F: Dipping is what we ducks do, dear, nobody said we had to inhale.
M: Yes, dear. Ladies first.
