I checked Chaplin's temp at 6:00...still 104.  He's not getting worse...but he's not getting better or is, perhaps, getting better very slowly.  He joined Dylan on the bed tonight, of his own volition.  He's been avoiding Dylan for awhile, but he went seeking affection, and Dylan was happy to oblige.  That's always a good sign.  He drank plenty of ( Read more... )

It was almost strange to pray so fervently, but it felt good, and gave me some peace, and I feel very, very thankful right now.  Chaplin's temp dropped a degree--from 105 down to 104, so the vet let him come home with me.  His appetite is still strong, and he seems a little less lethargic.  All I can say is keep those prayers and good thoughts ( Read more... )

My MacBook is fried.  There I was, happily clicking along, when my hard drive made two bizarree beep-click-grind noises.  It unsettled me, so I decided to restart.

....

You can probably guess what happened next.  That's right.

NOTHING.

It sat there on a white screen.  So, I duitifully got out the start-up disk and tried to re-install my OS.
