The Bates Family Legacy [3.1]
Welcome back! Now that I'm officially starting the next generation, I thought I'd play around with a new type of title page. What do you think of having the numbers there? I think I like it!
Anyway, let's continue with Ariel under the cut! (You have no idea how excited I am for this. Like, seriously.)
Meet our generation 3 heiress, Ariel Bates, in her new Town Life clothes. (I love this EP! Some of the things for it are so swanky.)
And here's a close up photo. I thought that since she's rebellious, I'd give Ariel hair that was highlighted and tipped purple. I really, really like the results - it suits her so much.
And also, OMG is she ever gorgeous.
Anyway, when it came to her last trait I knew exactly what to pick: Ariel just strikes me as the flirty type, so I went with my gut.
Also, lol. This was her first rolled wish as a grown up. And how could I deny her that?
Gorgeous, Ariel. Simply gorgeous.
Anyway, since Ariel's last trait to max was photography, I figured she might as well get paid for it and got her a job as a self-employed photographer. Ballin'!
LOL like seriously, what the hell? Gnomes can die?
Meanwhile, the living ones had moved to the other side of the yard.

And speaking of...
She retired! I decided she should spend the rest of her life enjoying her sculpting. But God is that ever a piddly pension! If I'd just let her continue being an investigator she'd be doing much better than this. D:
Oh, and since we're talking about Ellie, I'll just be upfront: you don't get to see a picture of what she & Liang look like as elders in this chapter. I was so focused on my precious Ariel that I kinda forgot about them. So sue me! Elders are boring!
This is just weird - they're like the creepy imaginary friend dolls, except less disturbing because they're just gnomes.

She is such a BAMF, I can't even handle it.
(Also, lol, she gets a positive moodlet for it.)
Ariel: "Hey, Sam, we're breaking up, okay?"
Sam: "TAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT, JUST PLEASE DON'T HURT ME."
Lol jeez. I felt bad for the kid, he just looked so scared (I don't know why). But at least I remembered to actually break up with the high school boyfriend this time - Ariel could've ended up like her Uncle Evan with the cheater reputation.
Also, YAAAAY LET THE FANFARE BEGIN BECAUSE ARIEL COMPLETED HER LTW! GIF SPAM STARTS NOW!

Anyway, since Ariel was done kicking ass and taking names, I figured she should get started on that whole generation-four thing. And since Agnes Crumplebottom couldn't seem to get her shit together with Hank, I decided that Ariel was just the girl to take her place.
Also, thanks Michael Bachelor for ruining my shot.
Anyway, they hit it off well and were getting pretty romantic, but something got in the way:
Hank fell asleep.
Ariel tried not to take it too personally.
Anyway, after she woke him up they were back on track.
And pretty soon, they were dating.
(CUTEST COUPLE EVER OMG SQUEE THEY WILL MAKE SUCH CUTE CHILDUNS :D)
Aaaaaand then, because I wanted to see Mr. Commitment Issues tie himself down, Ariel proposed.
Hank: "OOOOOH, SHINY! ...Wait, what did you say?"
Ariel: "Nothing, baby. Nothing."
And that's where I'll leave you for now!
Well, it's been quite a massive catch-up, but I'm glad to be done! Next time I'm probably going to be moving the family out to another neighbourhood to try to fix their glitch, so we'll see how that goes. (And I do have a plan for Lucy, Evan, and their families, so don't you worry!)
