The Bates Family Legacy [2.8]
Hey! I'm not recapping the last chapter since I just posted it. So let's head under the cut!
Just a regular day on the job for Ellie.
(Honestly, this never gets old; every time I see her on a stakeout I laugh my ass off.)
And now it's time for toddler spam!
I realize that you didn't ask to see it, but no one had talked in 17 minutes.

Anyway, shortly after the toddler-spam, it was time for Ariel and Jude's birthday. Except everything went wrong, because I accidentally clicked on the second cake for Lucy to age up instead of her son.
Since Lucy's the second-youngest Bates child, and she wasn't due to become a full-fledged adult for like 5 more days (Evan was the closest to aging, at 3 days away), I decided to have Evan and Ellie age up with her. Just to keep everything mostly even.
Anyway, here we go!

Oh, and here's Ariel's new trait (which I was able to choose :D). I thought photographer's eye might be fun; I gave it to Addison from my last failed legacy, and didn't know how to use it, but now I do. We'll see where it goes from here.
Evan/Ellie/Jude (and yes, I did slip in more picspam of Jude aging up than I did of our third generation heiress, but it's only because he's so cute!).
I figured that Jude would need this, since he's going to have to be clumsy for the rest of his life. ;) At least he'll be able to laugh at himself about it!

She really doesn't do much anymore, just writes; it's a shame.
Anyway, I figured you'd want to see pictures of Ariel and Jude, so here they are!

Anyway, I decided that it was time to move Lucy, JC, and Jude out of the house and give them their own space. So here's their house! I forgot to take pictures of the inside (for shame, I know), but trust me when I say they're living well. Except moving into such a large house nearly bankrupted them.
This was the whole reason I moved Lucy's family out (I mean other than to de-clog the legacy house). I wanted Evan and Stiles to adopt! :D
So here's Elizabeth (and her stats)! She's such a gem...too bad about her fashion sense, though. We'll remedy that soon enough.
D'awwwww. The two of them rolled up this want (as well, Elizabeth wanted to hug Stiles) as soon as she got out of the car, and I thought it was really sweet.
AHAHA, THIS IS SO COOL!
(If not a little weird and slightly gross. But still cool.)
Hahaha, I love Liang and Ellie! They're always doing things together that make me laugh. :) Also, LOL, she got a splinter!
I'll keep that in mind if I ever want to "woohoo" in a treehouse.

Believe it or not, I see Stiles as being the super-fun, cool dad and Evan being more the helpful disciplinarian. I know it's weird, considering the shit he got up to in his youth. ;)
Oh, and speaking of Elizabeth, I finally got around to making her over. She's so cute!

So then I waited about 100 years for the game to clue in that his LTW had been fulfilled, but it DIDN'T.
I don't think I've ever been quite so livid.
So, if you're keeping track, I've had to change Evan's LTW three times now! The first time he couldn't handle the skilling; the second time, the game fucked up; the third time, the game fucked up. SENSING A PATTERN HERE?
I don't care if this is cheating. By this point, I was ready to rip my eyeballs out. :P

Anyway, since both Stiles and Evan had completed their LTWs, they were friends with their daughter, and Elizabeth was friends with Ariel (in fact, they're actually best friends), I decided to move them into their own house, down by the beach.
(This used to be Claire Ursine's house, in case you recognize it. She moved out.)
So this is where I'll leave you for now! When we return, the Bates family moves houses, and get up to more shenanigans! (What else is new? ;D)
