The Bates Family Legacy [2.2]
Hey, and welcome back!
Where we left off, Ellie and Lucy switched their LTWs to goals that were more fitting, and got jobs in the Investigator and Writer professions, respectively. Evan, Lucy, and Ellie graduated, all with Highest Honors. Lucy was Valedictorian and super popular; Evan and Ellie were not.
Storm and Goodwin were adorable, Obama showed up in Twinbrook, and Tim Burre, the slighted bastard, went behind Evan's back to try to claim Wayne (the only guy who I actually want Evan with). Evan later rectified that problem, for the most part. He also slept with two guys in the course of the chapter, and his love-life was worthy of media documentation. (I don't understand this game sometimes.)
Ellie's detective skills were SUPER EFFECTIVE, and Lucy completed half of her LTW so the gen.2 kids decided to go on a trip to China. Oh, and I change my journal style between updates so now the photos aren't bigger than the layout! Mini-wave in the celebration of me!

Ellie: "Oh my God, oh my God, OHMYGOD, WE'RE IN CHINA! Look at the architecture! At the nature! At all the culture and the food! I MUST EXPERIENCE IT ALL."
Evan and Lucy: "Jeez, Ellie, calm down."
(Ellie's an excitable sim; can you tell?)
Well, hellooooo there!
Ellie, quick, say hello!
Ellie: "But I want to experience the culture!"
Anyway, I had Ellie follow him over to the Pheonix Martial Arts Academy where they ~got to know each other better. His name is Liang Yat Sen (I think his first name is Liang and last is Yat Sen, but not sure), and he's precious and obviously going to be the father of the third generation of Bates children!
They had A LOT of chemistry, because within no time they were kissing.

OH MY GOD.
Remember the guy Lucy met at the graveyard, the really cute one from France? Well, miraculously, he showed up in China.
I LOVE MY GAME, AND IT LOVES ME BACK.
Anyway, his name is Jean-Claude Petit. (Insert size-related jokes here.)
Anyway, they got to know each other again under the paparazzi's watchful eye, and I was quite pleased to find that it wasn't too hard to make them fall for each other. :D
And then it was time to kiss...
UGH, ELEVATION. Y U HATE ME?!
Oh well, at least they're adorable together while not kissing. :P And I'm sure the nasty elevation problem will right itself when they're not standing on a hill in the middle of China.
Anyway, while the girls were getting their flirt on with their respective men, Evan had picked out his next conquest (which a hoard of paparazzi watching). I don't understand this.
Between Ellie and Lucy and their men, there's so much cute to go around! :D
Anyway, since the first day was spent romancing and the kids only had three days there, I sent Lucy right to the Martial Arts Academy to get learning.
Lucky she's a fast-learner, because two sim days isn't usually enough to max a skill that isn't completely based on book-learning.
Fourth woohoo done! :D
Surprisingly, woohooing everyone he sees has actually helped Evan with his charisma skill; at this point he's one point away from maxing it out.
Anyway, time for the next conquest!

Evan: "But he's pretty! D:"
I don't give a damn! Get out now!
Ellie: "C'mon, Liang! Strip for me!"
Liang: "Uh, Ellie, that's not really my thing."
LMAO.
Ellie: "Well, I can certainly fix that."
Coincidentally, this was the only trait that Ellie could discover about Liang - I'm really quite eager to figure out what the other four are!
Anyway, I feel like I've neglected Lucy a bit, so have some martial arts spam:
Lucy: "I WILL SMACK YOU DOWN LIKE THE HAND OF GOD!"
Anyway, she's really quite close to maxing it out!

But first, let's at least make them a couple. :D

Anyway, they woohooed and--

Meanwhile, Evan found his next conquest - a pretty little boy man named Zhan Su. (Seriously, he's adorable but he does look eerily childlike.)
Fifth woohoo done!
So I was sitting there expecting to get a notification that he'd finished his LTW, and NOTHING. Then I thought maybe having woohooed once at his own house didn't count as a "different place," so I sent Evan out in search of another willing body. Ugh!
Oh, jeez. REALLY?
It was in the base camp! In a bed! I'd hardly call that public!
Evan: "Oh bb, come here to me. No, no, you come here to me."
SACRILEGE.
He couldn't find any willing, unmarried men, though, so I had to make do. Unfortunately this didn't trigger his LTW either, so I went to Google.
Turns out this LTW doesn't mean woohooing in 5 beds that are not your own; it means woohooing in 5 different PLACES - bed, hot tub, city hall, the theatre, the military base, the science centre, an elevator, a time machine, to name some examples.
ALL MY WORK FOR NOTHING. Jesus, just put me in the Cone of Shame.
On a brighter note, OMG YAY. YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!!!!
IT'S PARTY TIME!!!!!
Anyway, the trip ended shortly after this happened, and the kids went back home to Twinbrook. I have to admit that, while not everything went according to plan, I accomplished two out of three goals (and LTW completed and a spouse for our heiress), as well as finding Lucy's dream man by accident! Yay!
When I see you again, I suppose I'll be back to getting Evan to woohoo everyone again. FML.
