I decided to put the title pic under the cut, because it's still huge. So let's continue down there!
Welcome back! Where we last left off, potty training was done (YAY), Evan had his birthday and was a very weird looking child. His toy, Bobo, grew up with him, and all those imaginary friend-dolls started to creep me out. There was generations fun to be had, and the siblings bonded with each other. Blake moved into a bachelor pad across town. The girls became adorable children.
On another note entirely, I finally bit the bullet and downloaded the mod that allows me to see all the happenings of the town. I could do without the promotion updates from anybody and everybody, but seeing who's dating who and who hates who is worth it. ;)
Anywho, let's get started!
Since all the kids were...well, kids, I decided it was time to start experimenting with their interests, and see what kind of activities they'd want to do, based on their personalities.
Evan gravitated towards his Easy Bake oven (he calls it Easy Evan's Bakery, if you get the Friends reference), and made an assortment of delicious treats. All Lucy wanted to do was play video games. And Ellie had her nose in a book, learning everything about the logic skill.
AHAHA. I don't know who this is, but I laughed for like 10 minutes at the fact that her name is MOLLY CODDLE. Get it? ;)
Heh heh. When I saw there was an opportunity for after school activities (thank you, Generations) I enrolled both of the girls in ballet. I'd planned to put Evan in Scouts (though something tells me his gentle nature would have preferred ballet), but I never got around to it.
Speaking of Evan, little known (and unrelated) fact: he is the WORST for doing homework. It takes him FOREVER. I wanted to cut him.
You know how I mentioned that Ellie really liked learning about the logic skill? Yeah, well she also liked applying it with her chemistry set.
THIS THING IS SOOOOO COOL. :D She can make all these different potions, and it's just so neat!
Also, I love all the little freak-outs she has because she's an excitable sim (which sometimes I forget because, believe it or not, she's actually incredibly serene); she gets all crazy when she invents a new potion. xD
The kids got to go on a field trip. Want to know where their crazy teacher took them? THE GRAVE YARD.
Yeah, that's a totally appropriate elementary school field trip.
Bahahahahaha.
Awww, Blake! ):
Good job, Goodwin! =D
Another field trip the kids took (it was actually the NEXT DAY) was to the theatre. They got to see a ballet, evidently, and this little moodlet popped up. I just thought it was cute. :)
YEEEEEE BOIIIII
Double birthday!
But awww, Goodwin's going to be an elder. ):
(Did I mention Storm's just one day from that landmark, also?)
Anyway, before the birthdays could happen I noticed an option on the computer to enrol the kids in boarding school, so I chose LeFromage Art School.
But back to birthday spam:
YOU JERK, YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE YOUR HOMEWORK.
Oh well; perceptive isn't really a downside.
And OMG WHAT IS THIS.
LOOK AT HIM.
HE IS HOT.
GAH.
Like, seriously. I was not anticipating this!
Awww, Goodwin. ):
At least you're still a rockin' old man!
Seriously, look at him with his aviators on. He's like George Clooney. xD
Oh yeah, and this monstrosity aged up, too.
HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS FUCKER?
OMG THIS IS TOO COOL.
Everyone, we are going for a drive!
Learning to drive was actually super neat. Evan basically had to get three skill points in driving to get his license, and all he really had to do was drive around the town at super slow, average, and fast speeds. :P But it was a nice mother-son bonding moment. :]
The cars are here.
MUH BABBYS ARE LEAVING. D;
SO MANY CREYS.
Well, that's where I'll leave you for now!
Until next time,
Kelsey
