Welcome back! Where we last left off, I created Storm Bates in the small, sleepy town of Twinbrook and unleashed her potent sexual energy on all the males. They were powerless to her wiles, and all that.
While being a sexy seductress, Storm was also an excellent firewoman, achieving promotion after promotion. She also became famous, attended parties, and was generally cooler than me.
Carry on!
So I swore to myself that I was going to let Storm work herself out of poverty, and the only cheat I was going to use was keeping her motives under control, but I totally caved; she's a three-star celebrity, after all, and I wasn't going to let her live in that tiny little house with no furniture any longer! I moved her in down the street from her ex, Buddy.
That wasn't intentional, by the way; I liked the house a lot - and I mean, who wouldn't? The thing is gorgeous!
REVEL IN ITS BEAUTY!
Also, Storm was promoted again. YAY.
Anyway, since Storm was in need of a new boyfriend, I sent her over to Clark Peddler's house after work. She only knew him from parties, and although he's gross Storm can't afford to be picky. If she wants ten boyfriends, they're going to be the first ten guys I see!
Anyway, I discovered a neat little trick while I was having Storm flirt with Clark; if it got to a point in their interactions where the relationship bar said that Clark thought Storm was being "very alluring" I would pause the game and go into the romantic interactions panel; because she was being alluring, about ten more options would become available - including their first kiss, which would then prompt the game to make the going-steady option available. Thus, instant couplehood minus the getting-to-know-you time!
Soon, Clark was her temporary boyfriend.
And when I say temporary, I'm really not kidding - though Storm has to put up with crappy boyfriends, she only deals with them for a fraction of a second. After Clark was counted in her total, she broke up with him (like, within minutes of having started dating him). Bahahaha.
While Storm was at work the next day, I noticed this adorable little plump man named Tim Burre. Let's just say I was the one that was smitten this time, and therefore unleashed Storm on him.
With my new trick, it didn't take long to woo him.
"I can confirm that C-list celeb Storm Bates is dating measly firefighter Tim Burre. How do I know? I saw them mackin'. I was so close I could see the tongue! You know you love me; xoxo, Gossip Girl."
Anyway, Storm and Tim got together even though Gossip Girl the random paparazzi lady was lurking behind them.
Hells yes.
So Storm got this work challenge to help out with something or other at the hospital, and she got the Firefighter's Medal of Safekeeping. How nice!
The people, they love her ;)
Poor Tim; I liked him! But did he really think it was going to last? ;)
Pretty much sim hours after breaking up with Tim, Storm was out on the town with her newest conquest - Marc Brandt, from her first night in Twinbrook. I originally thought they would end up together, due to their similar looks.
Spoilers: they don't.
Anyway, soon they were dating.
And, as per usual, that didn't last much longer than two or three minutes.
If I hadn't cropped the picture, you would've seen Marc's speech bubble saying that Storm has issues that he wouldn't be sticking around to deal with. I lol'd.
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!
If you don't know what this means, I'll tell you: Storm reached the top of the firefighter career track!
Look at this girl go! She may be my favourite sim yet barring Kamal.
Anyway, because of her heroics (I forgot to take pictures of them, natch) rescuing several people from certain death in a chain-opportunity, Storm was awarded the firefighter's key to the city at an award ceremony that was thrown for her.
Such an overachiever! And the people adore her. :D
AVERT YOUR EYES, CHILDUNS!
You know how I said that Storm had to do what she had to do to get her LTW fulfilled? Well, unfortunately, getting romantic with this aging punkster was one of them. Meet Harwood Clay, the grossest boytoy of this challenge.
Sensibly, I removed the photo of their kiss so that y'all wouldn't be scarred for life. :]
Anyway, for a very short time they dated.
A VERY short time.
(And, in case you were wondering, yes, the makeup is part of the reason why.)
Anyway, meet Shark Racket. (I know, lol.) Storm met him when she was rescuing his family from certain death, and they hit it off. I saved him as one of her last boyfriends because he was good looking, and I debated for a time making him her permanent lover.
This was sufficient reason to change my mind, LOL.
Believe it or not, he's a fully grown adult. That's just embarrassing for him!
Anyway, I forgot (somehow) to get a picture of his boyfriend status, but it's really irrelevant because that didn't last long. Here's proof that they did date, though, in the form of his ex-boyfriend status.
And that's it for me for now! Tune in for the next instalment very soon (as in later tonight, haha).
Also, big thanks to Rosanna who helped me figure out auto-resizing with Photobucket!
