The Adventures of Addison Barros, Celebrity Relic-Hunter [7.1]
It's been quite a while, but I'm back for chapter 7 of Addison Barros' worldly adventures. Today we'll pick up where we last left off: back in Bridgeport!
(Oh, and this chapter is just so ma-hu-ssive that it had to be split into two parts. Fair warning!
Addi got invited to a party!
Woot, woot!
She also found the biggest fucking space rock I've ever seen in my life!
As for Ian, he's been getting into fishing more lately - it started as his vacation hobby when he'd finished logic-skilling, but it's turned into something he does at home, too.
Anyway, the party that Addi got invited to? It sucked so hardcore that I didn't even take any pictures. She moonlighted as a bartender for the evening instead.
Random Ian spam!

Anyway, it was at this point that I decided Addi & Ian's house needed a make-over in some rooms - they had barely a laundry room, Ian didn't even have a bedroom, and their living room was more adult-appropriate than kid-appropriate.
So here are my changes:
Laundry room (which I'm in love with).
Ian's bedroom (which took me forever to do, so it's a damn good thing I love it).
Living room (so much pink 8D).
And now for some Addi-mixology spam!
Gotta love it.
Since Addi and Ian were spending some time at home, recouping from their last vacation, Ian ended up going to school for a few days (poor kid has barely been in school at all). He also did his homework for the very first time. No matter how many vacations they go on, I want Ian to be a good student. :)
Gotta love free drinks - especially when they pay you for it.
And since Ian went to school, he had opportunities of his own - and if it gets him better marks in school, who am I to say no?
I interrupt our regularly scheduled chapter to say:

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!
So originally I thought this chapter would be Bridgeport-based, but then I remembered that Addi had an opportunity waiting for her in China, which was directly relating to France. So off they went!
Series of opportunities, leading up to training in martial arts. It ain't no thang.
Meanwhile, Ian was fishing.
Shocking.
It's been another three chapters since Addi changed so, keeping with the three-chapter-rotation rule, she changed all of her outfits. :]
After that, she headed over to the martial art studio to start training...
...where she met this guy. Lols ensued.

And while that was happening, this is what Ian did to occupy his time: catching butterflies and staring into the stars.
Poor guy: during the entire vacation he read through the base camp's entire supply of books, fished, and then did odd things to occupy his time while Addi was off on her ~daring dos.
Speaking of Addi, she got her black belt/10 martial arts skill points! WOO~
She then broke the space rock, like she was supposed to, and headed over to see Biyu and start her adventures.
Lols. When this opportunity came up, I thought that Addi was supposed to have 20 fights. Turns out, to become a grand master, you only actually have to beat one person.
Wow.
Anyway, the next couple of opportunities were just picking shit up to create this ~protective amulet, and then she headed over to the Dragon's Maw to actually, finally get through the whole thing.
EXPLORING SPAM!
After this picture lols ensued because Addi got singed by a fire trap and had no way to shower off. She walked around in singed undies with her hair in a style reminiscent of Einstein.
Okay, so. Addi got to the final chamber and as she's going around, securing that Dong Huo's spirit was trapped in the temple forever, this fucking thing came out.
My first thought: WHATTHEFUCK A MUMMY?!?!?!?!!?!!?!
Second thought: ...WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKKKK!
He then engaged Addi in a fight. I forgot to take pictures past this point, but he beat her ass and she fainted for a short period of time. She then got up and proceeded to go about her business, regardless of the fact that the mummy was there. He didn't bother her after that. However, Dong Huo - another mummy - also got out of his crypt thing or whatever it's called and wander around, too.
Anyway, Addi finished the tomb and sealed Dong Huo in and, despite the state of the second last picture, was really quite happy about it.
Sorry for a pointless opportunity chain - it was just a lot of going out and retrieving shit. Meh.
Anyway, Addi also discovered a tomb underneath the heart of the city. She went down and snooped around, but couldn't get past this one door so I gave up. It was unfortunate. But the fact that they just had this stepping stone out in the middle of the city for everyone to see made me lol.
Anyway, since I'm splitting up the parts, this is where I'll stop for now. Onto the next one!
