I spend waaaaaay too much of my free time thinking about photosynthesis. That is some complicated shit! And I have the test today. Yeahh, no idea.

ahh, biology. thou art a heartless bitch. why is it that biology is the study of life, and yet it's killing me/making me want to kill myself?

when we were younger it was as simple as water + air + sunlight = cellulose. now it's like light energy in electrons passes through photosystem 2, then photosystem 1, through an electron carrier called plastoquinone or something i don't remember... and there's one type of photosynthesis that doesn't even need light?!?! BUT PHOTO = LIGHT, WTFFFFFF. @______@;;

... yeah, those are some of the things i thought/said last year when i was taking that up. PHOTOSYNTHESIS, MY GOSH. :| complicated as hell.

but just roll with it, you'll get through. :)

Ohhh goodness the test was just an epic fail. I think I only knew like 2 of the answers. Ughhh... oh well.

EXACTLY though! Why can't we just leave it at water + sunlight = plants???? Soooo much better than... 6Co2 + 6H2O = C6H12O6 + 6O2. I feel like I'm missing something... I don't even know. :(
