Saturday the 29th : sculpture and revolutions

This is my fifth visit to Santiago and I've seen the main sights on previous visits, so my plan was to take things easy. My hotel is a block from the river, and Google Maps showed that there was a sculpture park nearby on the other side of the river, with an 8 am opening time. How nice! I like Santiago more each time I visit (and I liked it the first time, when I stayed in Barrio Paris-Londres).

I've only seen a tiny bit of Macul, walking from the metro to the Cousiño-Macul winery, but it looked very pleasant.

That sounds like an excellent day. Art, yarn, a great dinner with views and good company.

That skyscraper is really cool looking with the sun bouncing off of it in the second photo.

The sunset on the tower is amazing, isn't it? I have a view of a similar huge tower from my flat, and the range of lighting effects in different conditions is wonderful.
