Saturday the 29th : sculpture and revolutions

This is my fifth visit to Santiago and I've seen the main sights on previous visits, so my plan was to take things easy. My hotel is a block from the river, and Google Maps showed that there was a sculpture park nearby on the other side of the river, with an 8 am opening time. I got there around 9, and had it almost to myself apart from some locals

How nice! I like Santiago more each time I visit (and I liked it the first time, when I stayed in Barrio Paris-Londres).

I've only seen a tiny bit of Macul, walking from the metro to the Cousiño-Macul winery, but it looked very pleasant.

The sunset on the tower is amazing, isn't it? I have a view of a similar huge tower from my flat, and the range of lighting effects in different conditions is wonderful.
