"I'd gladly move to Mexico" - a triolet with my poetry sisters

It's the first Friday in the month of July (tomorrow), so I'm posting my poem written in tandem with my lovely poetry sisters. This month it's triolets, and they were supposed to be heat-related.

My sister and her husband live in Mexico for six months of the year. They are learning to speak Spanish even. I think that's the solution.

I love how this packs such a layered punch -- has a message without being even the slightest big messagey -- and is still lyrical and lovey on its face....

Ha! So many kinds of heat to escape from. This is a fun one, Kelly. I'll take the Mexican food and ocean, but I couldn't take the temps, for sure.
