Seems the good Mr. Gaiman has cornered the market on the scary books. :)

I believe you and I have discussed Jane-Emily in the past. I'm glad to know it's available as a reprint, I may have to pick that up. It was wonderfully creepy.

There are tons of non-Gaiman scary books, but I decided to suggest the books that I would give to these age groups.

I like your list! I think it's high time we brought The Wolves in the Walls into our house! Although it may yet be another year or two before Miss M can handle it. She's got a terrific imagination, but it's sometimes a little too convincing for her own good!
