Welcome home, Wally!

Our three-year old dog, Wally, is home from his stay at the emergency veterinary clinic, where he was under the expert care of Dr. Speciale, a veterinary neurologist and absolutely the kindest, calmest, most thorough vet I've had the pleasure of meeting (and that is saying something, since I've only ever met one vet I didn't care for ( Read more... )

Almost this exact same thing happened to my friend's doggy and he is now back to running like a champ! He's not supposed to jump in order to prevent future injuries. Hope Wally does as well!!!

That reminds me to talk to the vet about the jumping issue on Thursday. On the day Wally's injury occurred, Mike and his dad had Wally jumping hurdles for the first time in his life. Several hours later he got injured while running out into the yard. I think they may be related.
