That makes perfect sense to me. It's my first time reading it, so I'm still working out how I feel about it.

The implication is particularly horrifying, if followed out to its logical conclusion - it seems to imply that VD is so pervasive that anyone who is NOT a virgin looks unhealthy. Eep!
