It's Wednesday, which usually calls for a bit of Shakespeare around here, at least since June and Brush Up Your Shakespeare Month. And so, dear friends, this quote from The Life and Death of Richard II, which I've not yet read. (I know, I know - I shall get to it, I promise. I forget how much I like Frost sometimes. Fain is such a great word! We should bring it back.

Fain is an awesome word. Not certain it's capable of reviving, but we can always try!

You are most welcome. Does this mean that you also love November, or that your Sorrow does?

It's MY month. Yes, I LOVE it. And I can appreciate every visual detail described in Frost's poem. And like you, I like the season you describe and ALL the others as well.

After reading this and your comment, I realized WHY I love New England, four seasons and well, that's that.

This is my favorite Frost poem. It makes me sigh wistfully.

Glad it's your favorite - not so certain I'm glad for the wistfulness, unless it's a pleasant sort of wistfulness.

He was completely a master. Today, I purchased a copy of Robert Frost: Speaking on Campus: Excerpts from His Talks, 1949-1962, which I'm very much looking forward to reading!
