Because it would seem that I've completed a draft of the double sestina summarizing Pride & Prejudice after all. Twelve stanzas plus an envoi; 75 lines; 750 syllables; 550 words. No matter how you count it, it's not a lot of space to sum

You know I love that photo! And thanks, Lisa. Oh - and your book is faced in the shelves and on the new books wall at Borders as well this week. So it appears to be doing well at the local chain stores!

I wonder if my publisher is paying for that - trying to get copies to move or something? I don't know. I asked my editor how it was doing and he said it was doing okay but anything I could do to help sales would be appreciated. So I'm scheduling some book signings and things. I'm very thankful the chains are carrying it and supporting it, though.

I moved from Colin in P&P to JJ Feild in Northanger Abbey. He makes a truly charming Henry Tilney. I adore The Importance of Being Earnest for both Colin and Rupert Everett (whom I love still more in An Ideal Husband with the dishy Jeremy Northam).
