It's all over but the singing

The icon I've chosen describes the current situation at my house. And it seems profoundly quiet compared to last night, when hubby gave the girlies the gift he chose for them for Chanukah. (My kids celebrate both Chanukah and Christmas.)

I just have to quickly chime in that I love you made a noun out of "squee." Wait, maybe it was already a noun of exclamation, but I like "squeeishness."

Oooh.
See, that is too easy of an opportunity for me to sing badly (and loudly). Sad, really. when I'm singing along with the Wildcats, I think I sound pretty good, and I even try for the high notes. But when I put on the karaoke CD and start belting out tunes, I feel sorry for anyone with ears.
