But enough about me -- what do you think of me?

Today, I must tidy the house in advance of the arrival of the cleaning ladies. (Once upon a time there was a TV show for kids called The Big Comfy Couch, with a grown woman pretending to be a little girl amidst oversized props. She'd throw her toys all over then look around and say "Who made this big mess?" I feel a bit like that today, ( Read more... )

Aw shucks. Thanks for the nice things you said.

I echo Eisha's sentiment that you look like Catherine O'Hara, which is a big 'ol compliment.

There is no "was" to "The Big Comfy Couch"; it's one of a very few t.v. shows that my daughters watch, much to my husband's dismay. He can't stand that Loonette and that General Bedhead unicycling clown and the show in general. Not my favorite either, but somehow we've gotten to the point where they watch it every morning now.

Anyway, thanks for letting us interview you. It was our pleasure.

No, it was my pleasure! Catherine O'Hara, huh? I've only gotten her once before -- usually it's an Elizabeth (Perkins or Montgomery). I never minded Loonette, even though I have a general dislike of clowns and extremely bad puns ("General Bedhead" being both).

Have fun tonight, Kelly!
And I do remember that lady on the couch. She was sooo... so... chirpy?

I believe "nap" may fit in there, after the tidying. But it depends on the arrival time of the ladies -- they're "supposed" to be here at 1, but sometimes they show up at 10 a.m., and sometimes not until nearly 4.

Heyyyyy! You have consistently superb content too! And what's more, it's spaced in such a way that those of us in whirling dervish mode can actually find time to read most of it!

My monday? Well, sounds a lot like yours, though sadly, I do not have a (team of) cleaning lad(ies) coming after I organize here. And I will be doing a third of my essays this morning (new term resolution to cut back on stress). And then I will be working on finishing my finish spread so I can send out subs. Which will also probably take until at least Wednesday.

Assuming I get off of lj, that is.

Cutting back on stress is a good thing. An important one, too. And thanks for the kind words.

Just read the 7-Imp interview (squee)! Also read your Wordsworth PF post (I loved him as you did from high school). Thanks for the consistently high quality, thought provoking content. You are an inspiration to newbie bloggers like me :)!
