I love the way it moves from indulging the children with sugar to her own private indulgence. Glad the headmistress is taking care of herself (and Rolanda) too.
I very much enjoyed this. How very 'Minerva' to address the students and staff first, and make sure that they are well, before heading off to a celebration of her own. Lovely. :)
As always, you can move me with the barest whisper of words. A beautiful, poignant reminder that, as much as I love to bend canon, in reality is carries its final victory at such a heavy price.
