The banter between Rodney and John is so typical of their relationship. I was expecting Rodney to go and complain to Elizabeth just like little kids who run to mommy.

You know...everyday as I keep an eye on your LJ I am just continually amazed at the sheer amount of stuff you write! Crazy. (and *jealous* :) I really loved this little fic, I've been feeling a little ambivalent about the whole John/Elizabeth thing lately, but you, as always, make it seem right. Great interaction on all characters. Nice.

I'm a little bit Stephen King-y with my writing speed... I know...

I'm a bit of an insomniac at the moment and I write mostly between about 11-12 (when I get home from movies, dinner, hanging out, whatever) and 2am when I can finally crash.... and then am up between 6 and 7 for work. (not just writing fanfiction either, working on my own stuff about 70% of the time...)

It just doesn't... take me very long I guess. The above took me... half an hour to write I think and I did it as a favour. I can't really stop midway through a story either. If I'm forced to do that I rarely finish the damn thing.

Some people will sit on the couch and watch tv when they want to vedge out. Writing is my vedge out... :)
