I was so excited that I went to see it Friday by myself even though Andrew wanted to see it too. Haha! I told him I'd see it again, but it's not something that he wants to see so badly that he'd absolutely have to see it in the theater. I kind of want to see it again, though.
Yeah, I couldn't really process that these people would bring their small child to this movie. I can't completely process why I enjoy movies like this. And Shrek 3 and Surf's Up were playing at the same exact time. Couldn't at least one parent take one for the team and bring the kid to something appropriate? Maybe take turns, and let the other parent go to a solo horrow show the next time?? Ugh.
I figured it'd be better than going out for ice cream ;) Though I did eat badly the NEXT night (it was free though, my boyfriend works at Sonic and I had no money for groceries!)
I don't know what in particular was stressing me out, though I guess it really could be a number of things... It certainly did suck though. I'm glad that's overwith. Just wish I could get back into a regular routine with the gym (I soooo don't want to go tonight, or tomorrow... haha)
What?! How on earth did he get past the usher? I got IDed for an 18-rated movie and I'm just over 16 - how a 6 year old could walk right in is beyond me. Besides, their parents shouldn't be letting them watch Hostel at that age, surely? That's one sick film! I've not seen the sequel yet, but the first just seemed to be a load of blood and sex thrown together XD Not exactly a family film.
I have a feeling that maybe they bought tickets to one of the more kid-friendly movies and then just went into Hostel instead. Or maybe just bought 3 regular tickets to Hostel and no one saw the kid (he was very small). I don't know, I found it ridiculous. And the sequel wasn't really much different than the first film as far as blood and sex go. The main difference was that the main characters were females. So I definitely wouldn't reccommend it to anyone who didn't like the first Hostel.
Also, I get IDed almost every time I go to the movies, and I'm 27. Ha!
