Remember when there used to be this social media platform called livejournal? I come back sometimes, just to wander the ruins and think about the olden days.

Remember? We used to write more than 140-->560 characters.

Ah the good old days.

Or something like that.

Hiya, Kelli. I still love livejournal, myself. I don't use it like I used to, but the online community that I had access to here when we all used it more still feels pretty special to me. I just had a colonoscopy, like got home ten minutes ago still feeling the meds and haven't eaten, and I'm feeling the urge to just start typing on lj and seeing what happens. This is probably why they advise a responsible adult stay around until the anathesthia wears off, but, hey.

I don't think we did used to write all that much more. It's just that all the short little 140-560 char status updates/link spam/random stuff used to go to LJ, and acted as glue in between the less frequent longer entries.

I'm actually still here. But I only ever used LJ to read the blogs of people I like rather than to blog myself, and that is still true.

I still write on here everyday. Yes I have some of the other social media platforms, but this is where I write what I feel. Other places I put on the happy fake smile of normalcy for the sake of not stunting anyone's growth.
