but its just frustrating. i think napster has spoiled me and i can't turn back to buying CD's. but downloading is so much easier. and people do it with movies too, you don't see the actors or producers complaining... just slap an extra long warning at the begining of the DVD people can't fast forward through. besides, i dont like iTunes as much cuz ( Read more... )

I buy CDs... I download songs. I buy more CDs than I download. I usually download to decide whether or not I'm going to buy a CD. I look down on people who download massive amounts of whole albums.

1.) It is in fact a form of stealing and record label or not its how the artists get paid.
2.) Bought albums sound a lot better than burned albums in both my car and my room.

I've downloaded full albums before, but not many. Usually I will only download full albums if the band sucks. Besides, Best Buy Reward Zone bux = free album.

alright well i asked for it. just stating my opinion, and i get opposing ones. i expected it.

i still don't see how downloading is ANY different from borrowing someone's CD book and ripping those. and that is far less trackable to even be considered breaking the law.
