Since moving back to NoVa I've been looking to get employed again to settle my debt, and finish my schooling. Today I was told I got a job I really wanted at a child abuse/neglect organization being the assistant to the mental health director. It pays pretty decently, is nearby (7 miles from my house) and has full benefits after a month. I am ( Read more... )

Rawr, yes, we came up about a month ago but have been very busy trying to find teh jobs, not to mention some piss poor luck with our families' health and such (Kevin's dad having some of his colon removed, a friend of ours dying, et al.)

Yes, we must. This weekend is no good though. Heather Simak's bridal shower on Sunday, going to NYC for a few days to help my sister move, and then a coworker's 21st bday on June 3rd.

And this is the last big movie weekend for a while, at least until Transformers comes out, so it won't be as imperative for me to be working weekends.

No, in all serious, I'm very sorry to here that. I hope you're doing alright. I'm awaiting training in 29 Palms (aka "Satan's Asshole") for the next few months. Comm's backed up, so no worries yet. I'll deal with the future when it gets here, but, statistically, it's safer than any facet of my prior life, so... And they do train us pretty damn well.

I love it when you act all caring and stuff. It reminds me of the Ally I used to know. Glad you're pulling for us. Some people have a change of opinion when things strike so close to home. Again, I'm sorry. Appreciate the support. It goes both ways.
