Okay, that was a little overzealous, but still, I’m glad it’s Friday.  Finally shipped my first complete magazine on Wednesday.  All the others that I’ve been working on so far had began production before I arrived.  But this week’s behemoth was the first one I’ve ever worked on from beginning to end.  And yet here I sit, breathing and typing.  Go

The Chumash are real? I thought the BTVS writers just made up that name. Hee.

Ha! Yep, I only found out about the Chumash 2 or 3 years ago. Apparently, the Chumash were one of the largest Amerind tribes in Southern California. A lot of the artifacts found in the area are from their nation that was damn near decimated by Spanish settlers during the 18th and 19th centuries. Learn something new every day, right?

Thanks on the mag! I sent my mom and aunt copies of the first 2 mags I worked on, but this issue that we just finished will have my name alone under the copy editor title in the masthead. I figure I might as well show it off while I can. :-)
