You know that old superstition about the "stroke of midnight New Year's Eve"- that whatever you are doing at that moment is going to pave the way for how you spend the rest of the year?

Ah, he's crotchety as ever. :D He's got a computer coming to him; the gifter and I have been playing email tag for a couple weeks. Apt hunting is going, predictably, slowly; but the Land Lady has graciously given us a few more months; till after 'Mardi Bowl' at least.
