that is a BEAUTIFUL little tree!! i love the decorations...our tree is big (6 foot) and artificial and thank the gods, its a pre-lit tree that is easy to put together.

with a glorious overload of many different types of ornaments LOL. this year's new one is key shaped, with "our new house" and the year on it. :)

we have a fireplace, but its gas and doesnt have a gas log so we cant use it...and have it shut off. safer that way!

Ah, you see, that tree right there? That's the one I usually have as my "Saints" tree. I've got tons of black & gold ornaments, beads, fleurs de lis... and every year I get an NFL Saints holiday collectible with the date.
Then there's the live tree that I get for the living room by the window. Then there's the REALLY OBNOXIOUS WHITE PLASTIC TREE WITH THE PURPLE LIGHTS and pink and purple ornaments and all the jingle bells, that goes either in the kitchen, or on the front porch, wherever there's the most room.
And then all the lights and figurines, the candy canes and penguin scenes, the different towels and tableware; the wreaths and garland everywhere... Ooh, I just rhymed. :O

But alas, I'm working with only 350 square feet till I move.
Next year, though. Ima black out my whole block, like the Griswolds. :D

now, see? i WANTED to get a second tree. i WANTED to get the pink aluminum-looking ultra shiny tree with pink lights and TWO DAMN MEN overruled me.

next year i'm shopping WITHOUT them. BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!! and shadow has been REAL good, and not messed with the tree. she went and sniffed one day, then decided it wasnt something she needed to worry about. :D

Yeah, Agony (cat) is never too impressed with my trees; even the live one. She'll make a little hidey spot behind them and then give me dirty looks for a week after they get taken down. You know, cause I took away her little hidey spot. The dogs will sometimes knock lower ornaments off the trees while play-fighting; so I just trim the bottom third with unbreakables, and use a mega-plush tree skirt. :P

Ahh, The Pink Tree! That has always been my fantasy. I got the white one for free from a neighbor a few years ago. That's why the lights are purple; it kinda gives the illusion of pink.
