I just tried to spring up, to peer through the window and see what my insane landlord was doing outside my bedroom window... I crushed my third and fourth toes against the pointy corner of a box of store-brand honey-nut cheerios, tripped over a dog pillow, and banged my knee on my box fan.
Why am I awake?
