Traps are a pain

Several times in NERO events I have been asked or seen others asked to go rig up some traps to accomplish something. Each time it is a pain and hassle to get all the parts assembled and rigged and set up in a reasonable amount of time. I have been telling myself for ages that I need to sit down and figure out some way to pre-rig some traps so that I can break them out quickly. This is made more difficult in NERO by the requirement that traps have a bulky rep attached to them

I'm less worried about first-time setup, for which I can (hopefully) arrive early and spend as much time as I need arranging the space to my liking, and more worried about resetting for a second/Nth run, during the limited available gametime (and module time) with me hyped on adrenaline and possibly people waiting. I think restringing the trap than pulling up the old one and taping down a new one, but maybe not. I'll have to think about that.

I'm afraid I am a delinquent staffing and don't have a name/face mapping for you. Were you the fellow who dropped by to play with locks on Sunday morning?

I was the guy picking the locks while pretending it was all just beginners luck since I don't have skill. "Wow, look at that, it just popped right open. I'm sure I'll never be able to do that again. Hand me another lock."

If you find it amusing, I certainly have no objection. I should've handed you Ezrem's locks, though. All the ones I brought were pretty easy (and a couple of them were extra-easy by virtue of being broken).

Are you interested in stealthy goings on that aren't locks and traps?
