I don't like the chamber effect, but I couldn't get anything else to look right. Oh, the funky eye is from RP. Gonna work on it more later I think.. but later. My eyes ache from staring at this thing.
It's luuuuberly Kelen. *o* Though you mentioned you don't like the chamber effect itself... I'd suggest making a new layer setting it either to Vivid Light, Color Dodge, Overlay, or any combination of layers that tweak contrast or vividness. Paint in a an orangey-red color that's sort of an average of all the colors of his chamber effect-- not too light and not too dark-- and paint over the areas where the light is reflected with a soft edged brush, fiddle with the opacity of the layer or blending mode or combination of the blending modes till you get that 'Ooooooh shiiiiiiny~' effect. *o* Go crazy! You can doo eeeeet! *o*
