Thanks for writing about me Cheryl. =_= You could have at least blocked me from seeing that.
I wrote an uglier comment but deleted it, I dunno if it sends you the original to your email or not. Whatever. Look, people work differently. I'm not you. The techniques that work on you, backfire on me. It's that simple. It doesn't neccessarily mean either of us is wrong, but it doesn't negate the way either of us works.
It's very difficult to keep from writing scathing comments about you right now after you made this public, but since this entry happens to be public I'll do my best to be civilized. I'll just leave off ever mentioning my problems to you again.
i didn't put your name, so nobody but you would know it was you. out of respect. i have a right to vent that i'm frustrated by what i don't understand. i wish i could be what you needed in a friend, but i don't understand how. you may be right, perhaps i cant deal with your problems. as for the more scathing reply, it's in my email. i'll read it when i get home from evil meeting of doom.
So Jared and I want to watch Rome right, through the all mightyness that is netflix, but we are TERRIFIED that the first season will end much like the first half of the second season of Battlestar Galactica did--Leaving us WRITHING IN PAIN WANTING MORE.
Is is safe to proceed without worry about not having the second season out on DVD? We are poor and therefore have no cable.
i'd say the first season does have a slight bit of ending and no gigantic "will they die?" kind of cliffhangers. i've only seen season one and yes, i want to see more, but it's more because rome was a damned good show than because the characters are on the verge of something and i want to find out what happens. if there is some anticipation at the end, i think the rest of the show is worth that little bit of agony.
but be warned, some of the dvds end in cliffhangers and it's a tense few days before the next one arrives in the mail.
i'm worried about the friends thing when i move. i have friends here (and because of school was somewhat forced to socialize - so i found you guys!) but wherever i'm going, i'll have no friends or family (most likely). just daniel. great as he is, that's not, as you said, enough. he, on the other hand, is very social and i'm sure will have no problem meeting and greeting and getting a friend-base very quickly. for me, work people are work people and not always the ones to see outside of work, so they don't really count - AND i don't have a job wherever we're going so that really discounts meeting new people that way
