goodbye.

I feel like I owe everyone here an apology. I haven't posted much lately and what I have posted was written hurriedly and for a fic challenge, culled from stray thoughts scribbled down in meetings, discarded scraps of other stories and Post-Its strewn all over my apartment (which is not to say that I'm not proud of them, more of I'd wish I'd been ( Read more... )

Your decision is a completely respectable one. Writing shouldn't be forced. We'll miss your stories, Sara. ♥

If it hadn't been for fandom and a mutual love of Addison Forbes Montgomery Shepherd before she became someone neither of us recognize, we never would have "met," so I am very glad you enjoyed the ride and were a part of this particular corner of the fic world for so long. I enjoyed our collaboration project(s), general discussion of fics, and mostly, I loved reading the things your talented brain came up with. I should only speak for myself, but I feel pretty confident in saying that you challenged pretty much every writer in this corner of fic!world to be better simply through the awesome stuff you produced, particularly me. Well done.

Your creativity (really, lady: the stuff you came up with!), snark, fantastic dialogue, fic!kids, and intriguing tales will be greatly missed.

I'm sad that I won't be able to read your fic anymore (or at least in the foreseeable future) but I completely understand why you've made this decision since it's the same reason I've stopped writing in this fandom as well.
But know that you will be missed and you have immense talent so if you ever decide to start up again, you have a fan and a reader in me.

I'm not going to lie, I'm damn bummed that you're putting your pencil down. You have a way with words that never ceases to make me stop just one second to think, to feel; you have a true talent. :)

That being said, I definitely understand where you're coming from. Just reading about your work projects sent me into a headspin, training for a triathalon (go YOU!) is surely going to be a kick-booty process, and losing touch with the fandom... it's something that's happened many a time in my own past experiences.

Best of luck in all of your endeavors, you busy girl!

I'll miss your fic, but I understand your reasons for not writing for a while.

You're definitely a talented writer, so I hope you continue writing something, even if it's not fic.

Good luck with the race and everything!!
