Oh, ow. Cristina's the one person I miss from Grey's and now you've made me want to hug her tight. And severely injure her dad.

I love how you've captured a normal childhood, all the little details that make a kid happy that most people don't think to mention in their writing. Picturing kid!Cristina hugging a teddy bear with one arm while digging into a jar of peanut butter with the other makes me smile. :)

Oh, this is so fantastic. She is my favourite character. And I love this innocence in her that you've captured. And it's not OOC because it's all part of who she was. And that last line, GAH, it just makes you want to cry. Not because she's not amazing as she is, but because to have such an impact on her... It's just so tragic.

I really can see where Cris' dad's death cut short her childhood. You've done a nice glimpse into her first "before".
