I'm with you why_we_are. I love Alex and Ava. I used to like him with Izzie but then they changed her character so much that I don't even like her anymore. And Ava brings out this really endearing quality in Alex. I was really happy that they finally hooked up last episode.

Enough about that though. Your fic was beautifully written and being a fan and writer of Second POV fics and I can say that it isn't as easy to write as one would think but you did a really great job. I love the ending because it wraps up the story so wonderfully like an ending really should, tying up all the loose ends. This is the first story I've read from you but I'm definitely up for reading more after this one.

Izzie's insane. That's all there is about that one.

I'm in a second POV kick lately and I don't know why but I find it easier to do character-centric (as opposed to things with plot) fic in 2POV. You can get deeper into thoughts and feelings without seeming like you're staring from the outside. That's not to say that it's terrifically easy to write, it's just an easier format.

Well, I for one am all for Alex/Ava/Rebecca/Whoever! I think she understands Alex in a way that none of the others have even come close to. I'm totally against Alex/Addison as it's already been done to death (intern/attending), TOTALLY against Alex/Callie 'coz that would be just too much inappropriate bed-hopping for my liking and I will always have a soft spot for Alex/Izzie but...this...your story...loved it. Loved how that POV meant you could explain both of their sides to the story, oooh...I can't even write coherantly about it just yet...I think I need to read again!

PS. For those that will argue my above points re. the pairings being done to death, I know this one smells of Izzie/Denny but there are too many differences to make it even close to the same thing so...I'm totally okay with it.

I know you wrote this ages ago but we've only just got s4 over in Australia so I'm catching up and I felt you really needed feedback since not that many people seem to care about Alex/Ava. I, however, am not one of them. I LOVE THIS PAIRING. And I think you wrote this beautifully. You really captured the relationship between them (or Ava's feelings about it) perfectly. It kind of made me sad and happy inside at the same time. So thank you for writing it. I enjoyed this a lot, and would read more by you.
