I've never seen "Pushing Daisies," but he was hangdog enough in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, so I know what you mean. He's got a sort of fierce Lucius Malfoy vibe going, doesn't he?

I was disappointed we don't hear Smaug say anything, but seeing him eyeing Bilbo was enough to scare me a little!
